In the fall of 2009, the Jewish Federation of Ulster County awarded Musialkiewicz Construction Company, Inc., of Kingston, NY, the contract to stabilize and restore the storefront after a competitive bidding process.  The scope of work was conceived and managed for the Jewish Federation by our architect,  Marilyn Kaplan, and the plans approved by the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO).  Ted Musialkiewicz has worked on many of Kingston’s most significant historic structures.  Construction lasted through December 2009.  The Storefront Restoration Project received a Preservation Award for 2010 from the Friends of Historic Kingston.
