Despite the rain, despite the gloom, a bright and festive atmosphere filled the Andy Murphy Midtown Neighborhood Center when the 4th annual Kingston Multicultural Festival moved the party indoors.  The last minute change of venue from the usual T.R. Gallo Park due to a weather forecast that refused to break our way, did not deter any of the exhibitors or performers who were set up and ready by 1 pm, energy and enthusiasm intact, or a surprisingly good sized crowd that turned out to enjoy the festivities throughout the afternoon.

The Kingston Multicultural Festival was made possible in part with funds from the Decentralization Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of Gov. Andrew Cuomo and the New York state Legislature and administered by Arts Mid-Hudson.

Additional sponsors: Basch & Keegan; Klock Kingston Foundation; Mainetti, Mainetti and O’Connor; Rondout Savings Bank; Stewart’s Shops and private donors.

Additional support provided by: AFS-USA, ColorPage; The Copy Hut; Euro-Tronix; HealthAlliance Westchester Medical Center Health Network and Sav-On Party Central.
