Rent the Reher Center
A Unique Space for Meetings & Gatherings
Looking for a distinctive space for your next meeting, workshop, rehearsal, or social gathering? The Reher Center offers a welcoming and historic setting in the heart of Kingston’s Historic Rondout neighborhood.
Located within the building that housed Historic Reher’s Bakery, our spaces offer a memorable alternative to a traditional meeting room or event venue. Bring your team, organization, creative project, or community group together in a place shaped by generations of immigrant life, work, and community.
The Gallery
Our Gallery is the Reher Center’s primary rental space and is ideal for meetings, workshops, presentations, rehearsals, and other gatherings.
The Gallery combines the character of a historic site with amenities for a comfortable and productive gathering, including:
- Mini kitchen
- Bathrooms
- Projector and screen
- Television
- Microphones
- Surround sound speakers
- Hearing loop for guests who use hearing aids
- Flexible space for meetings and small events
Food and beverages may be served in the Gallery in accordance with Reher Center guidelines.
Courtyard
Our courtyard provides a welcoming outdoor setting for smaller gatherings, informal meetings, receptions, and community events. The courtyard can also be used as an extension of a Gallery rental, offering groups the opportunity to gather outdoors in the heart of the Rondout.
Historic Bakery Spaces
Gather in the place where the Reher family worked for almost a century. Historic Reher’s Bakery, including the historic retail space and oven room, offer a special opportunity to gather within the historic bakery itself. Because these spaces contain historic furnishings and materials, additional guidelines and restrictions may apply.
